The Andragogic Center of Slovenia, in collaboration with 12 regional coordinators for lifelong learning (LLL), proudly announces the launch of a nationwide project titled Raising Awareness, Informing Various Publics, and Encouraging Greater Inclusion in Lifelong Learning (2024–2028), accompanied by the Lahko.si campaign.
The project's aim is to enhance public awareness of the importance of lifelong learning (LLL) and increase adult participation in learning activities. It seeks to improve individuals' competencies for active engagement in society and strengthen their ability to adapt to technological, demographic, and climate changes in the modern world. This initiative will enable a systematic, continuous, and multi-year awareness campaign on the significance of lifelong learning, targeting all adults over 16 years old, including vulnerable groups.
The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). It builds on previous efforts such as Lifelong Learning Weeks (LLW), the Learning Parade, Adult Education Guidance Days, and other initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of lifelong learning.

Target Audience
General Population:
- All adults in Slovenia (2024–2028)
Vulnerable Groups:
- Young adults with lower education levels (2025)
- Older adults (2026)
- Migrants and immigrants (2027)
Prisoners and former prisoners (2028)
What Does the Project Offer?
- A multi-year, nationwide media campaign—for the first time in Slovenia’s history—to raise awareness and strengthen the lifelong learning movement.
- A regional network of 12 coordinators, serving as the project’s voice at the local level—connecting Slovenia through learning!
- 50 new events across Slovenia to promote the importance of lifelong learning.
- A new online portal, Lahko.si, offering interactive content to inspire and motivate individuals to take charge of their own learning journey, supporting both personal and professional development.

Goals
The project's core objectives are to:

✅ Introduce new forms of events and methods for raising awareness, informing, and encouraging adults to participate in lifelong learning.
✅ Promote a positive attitude towards lifelong learning, highlighting its personal, social, and professional benefits.
✅ Increase recognition and public perception of lifelong learning.
✅ Improve collaboration between adult education providers and other stakeholders at national and local levels.

The Awareness for Lifelong Learning project team consists of curious, communicative, and lifelong learners from diverse backgrounds, genders, ages, and education levels. We are all strong advocates of lifelong learning, committed to enhancing the role of education and knowledge in society.
